Turkish purple jade contains jadeite and comes in several natural color variations, ranging from taupe to lavender to deep purple. We grade our jade from A to C based on the brilliance of the color and the amount of mottling and inclusions present. The value is higher for deeper purple and more brilliant lavender. Inclusions of quartz and other minerals can add to natural beauty of this stone. However, the higher value pieces tend to have few inclusions or particularly attractive inclusions.
